The Guildhall

Guildhall Worcester

In High Street Worcester Guildhall was begun in 1722 by architect Thomas White, a pupil of Sir Christopher Wren.

The ornate front of the building reflects Worcester's status as the 'faithful city' with statues of three Stuart monarchs, King Charles I, King Charles II and Queen Anne.

The Assembly Room is one of the most beautifully decorated Italianate Rooms in the country.
